Where to find your mounts in WoW

Your mounts are in the in-game Mount Journal. Open the game menu, choose Collections, and select the Mounts tab. The default keyboard shortcut is Shift-P. Blizzard also calls the wider screen that contains the journal your Warband Collection.

The journal is the first place to check whether your Warband has learned a mount. Search for the mount by name, select it, and read the source or restriction text shown by the game. You do not need an addon or website for this basic collection check.

In short: press Shift-P, open the Mounts tab, clear any old search or filter, and enter the mount’s name.

If a mount is missing from the journal

A saved search or filter can hide a mount even when it belongs to your collection. Remove the text in the search field, reset the journal’s filters, and search again with only part of the mount name. This also helps when the display name is not quite what you remember.

If it still does not appear as collected, check that you are signed into the expected Battle.net account and region. An EU collection and a US collection are separate, even when both use the same Battle.net login.

Your mount collection is shared through your Warband

You usually do not need to log into every alt to find its learned mounts. Blizzard includes mounts among the collections shared by a Warband. That Warband spans realms, factions, and subscriptions on the same Battle.net account within one region.

Blizzard’s Warbands preview names mounts as part of the shared collection, while its Warbands overview explains the one-region limit. This is why a mount learned on one EU character can appear for another EU character, but not for a character in the Americas.

Collected does not always mean usable

A mount shown as collected belongs to your Warband collection. That does not guarantee that the character you are playing can use it in every place. The game can still apply faction, class, profession, level, location, or flight-style restrictions.

Treat these as two different questions: “Has my Warband learned this mount?” and “Can this character use it here?” The Mount Journal can say yes to the first and no to the second.

How to find mounts you have not collected

The Mount Journal is best for checking your live in-game collection. When you want to plan what to collect next, use the Missing Mounts scanner for a character or Warband snapshot. The scanner compares the character information available through Blizzard with the mount records tracked by Missing Mounts.

You can also browse the WoW mounts list without choosing a character. For a narrower goal, the reputation and Renown mounts list groups mounts by their recorded requirements. Always confirm the final source and restrictions in the game before spending currency or starting a long grind.

Refresh an old Missing Mounts scan

The Mount Journal and a website snapshot can disagree when the snapshot is old. If you recently learned a mount, gained reputation, or switched regions, refresh the character before using the result to plan your next farm. The time on a Missing Mounts result tells you when that character was last recorded, not when your collection last changed in the game.
